Create a new Customer-Affiliate Connection

GoAffPro provides you with the option to connect affiliates with customers using the Customer-Affiliate connection. When you create a new customer-affiliate connection, every time a customer purchases on your store, the affiliate that is connected to the customer will receive the commission.

This connection is made using the customer's email address. When a purchase is made on your store by a customer, the customer is required to provide an email address. The Customer-Affiliate connect feature seamlessly finds out if any affiliate is connected to the customer's email address and credits the connected affiliate with the commission of the sale.

The Connections tab in the admin panel can be used to create new customer-affiliate connections

There are two ways you can create a new Customer-Affiliate connection:

1. New Connection in the Connections tab.

2. Individually Connect Customers with Affiliates

To create a new Customer-Affiliate connection, click on New Connection in the Connected Customers section.

Here in the Link Customer to affiliate window, you can select the affiliate and search for the customer with whom you want to link the affiliate.

You also have the option to create a new customer by filling in the details in the Create new customer fields, where you will have to provide the customer's name and email address.

To save the changes, click on Connect.

In the Connected Customer section, you will be able to see the newly created customer-affiliate connection. Here you can see the affiliate, the customer with whom the affiliate is connected and actions such as deleting the connection.

Individually Connect Customers with Affiliates

You also have the option to make customer-affiliate connections individually, by going to the Affiliate tab in the admin panel. Here in the All Affiliates section, you can click on the affiliate with whom you want to make a new customer connection.

In the affiliate's page, open the Customers section. Here you will be able to see the customers that have already been connected to the affiliate and you also have the option to create a new connection by clicking on New Link.

Here in the Link Customer to affiliate window, you can select the affiliate and search for the customer with whom you want to link the affiliate.

You also have the option to create a new customer by filling in the details in the Create new customer fields, where you will have to provide the customer's name and email address.

Click on Connect to save the change you have made. After saving, you will be able to see the newly created connection in the customer's section of the affiliate page.
