Set Commission Modifier with Product Name

GoAffPro provides you with the option to set a commission modifier with the product name rule.

To set a commission modifier with the product name rule, go to the Commission Modifiers section in the Commissions tab of the GoAffPro admin panel.

Commissions > Commission modifiers

Here, click on Add new modifier.

Click on Add new modifier

Now, select the Product Name rule.

After this, set the value.

For example: If you have product add-ons that can be purchased along with the main product, but you don't want to give affiliates commission for those product add-ons.

Then you will have set the value in the matches field, which is commonly shared with all of the add-ons, such as all your product add-ons have the word "add-on" in their name. Therefore, you can set the value as "add-on."

Now, set the commission rate for the rule.

For example: We do not want to give affiliates commission for product add-ons, so we set the commission rate for the modifier to -100%.

Finally, click on Add Modifier.

Click on Add Modifier

The newly created commission modifier will appear in the Commission Modifier section of the Commissions tab.

The commission modifier that we have set here as an example, will adjust the affiliate's commission by -100% for any product add-ons that are purchased by the customers.
