#### GoAffPro Admin Panel

It gets added to your store's admin panel, it allows you to **view and manage** your program. You can set up the affiliate commissions, coupons, and program settings. You can also view statistics regarding affiliate campaigns, sales, payout details, etc.&#x20;

The tracking script is automatically installed on your website. It tracks the visitor that comes to your website using the **referral link or coupon code** of the affiliate. # Quick Setup

Get started with your affiliate program in a few easy steps

### Quick Setup

The program comes with default settings and can be used as is, however, we highly recommend going through the basic setup. There are 3 steps to it:

1. Set up the commission you want to give your affiliates.
2. Let your site visitors know you have an affiliate program.
3. Promote your affiliate program over your brand's social media handles.

### Setting up commissions on your products

By default, the app sets a **10% commission** on all your products. It means that when your customer makes a purchase using an affiliate's referral link or code, the affiliate earns a 10% commission on the sale.&#x20;

#### To change the commission rate:

In the GoAffPro admin panel, go to the **Commissions** tab.

In the **Default Commission** section, click on the **Change.**

### Letting your site visitors know you have an affiliate program

You have multiple ways to let your visitors be aware of your affiliate program. Here, we will describe two methods:

* **Menu Link in Header or Footer Menu**
* **Custom Page with your program details**

#### Menu Link in Header or Footer

Having a link in your shop's header (top) or footer (bottom) menu allows quick access to the affiliate program for your store visitors. To create a menu link in Shopify:

Copy the affiliate portal link (for example <https://helloworld.goaffpro.com>)

Go to the Shopify admin panel > Content > Menu > Main menu section.

#### Creating Custom Page with your program's details

Creating a custom page gives your affiliates a chance to review your program details before they decide to register for it. To create a custom page:

Go to the Shopify admin panel > Online Store > Pages > Click on **Add page**.

How affiliate commissions work with the GoAffPro app

In affiliate marketing, when an affiliate promotes your product through their referral link or code, they earn a **commission** on it. This system of marketing is based on the **revenue-sharing** model, where the merchant offers a financial incentive to people who promote their products.

Affiliates in your program can use social media platforms or blogs to promote your store products with their followers. The affiliate will earn a commission when any of their followers visit the store using their referral link and make a purchase. This model offers benefits to store merchants like a boost in sales and a wider reach.

### Commissions are an important part of affiliate marketing

#### It is the money that the merchant pays to the affiliate for promoting their store and products. The affiliate benefits financially by earning a small commission on the sales they bring to the store.

Affiliates use their outreach by promoting products either on their website, which is dedicated to reviewing and promoting different products, or on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram or even reviewing products by making videos on YouTube or TikTok.

**An example of commissions is:**

If you have a product like a shirt that you sell in your store. Your objective is to sell as many shirts as you can. To drive sales up, you use GoAffPro, with which you set up an affiliate program for your store. Affiliates in your program will promote the shirt in your store, creating a higher demand for your shirt, and therefore, making more people buy it.

After a customer buys a shirt from your store using the referral link or code of the affiliate, GoAffPro records that sale and attributes it to them. The affiliate will earn a commission on this sale.&#x20;

### Commission rates

Commission rates heavily depend upon the product or service that an affiliate will be promoting. The rates mainly vary with the category and price of the product.

**A great way to understand commission rates is by looking at how Amazon sets commission rates for its products:**

Here we see that Amazon sets different commission rates for different categories of products, for more expensive products, the commission rates are higher compared to cheaper products.&#x20;

#### High commission rates don't mean a higher revenue

Here, you have to calculate the revenue you earn from each affiliate's referral and set the commission rates accordingly.

Commissions are applied on product price, shipping charges, and taxes, however, they can be excluded when calculating the affiliate's commission.

### GoAffPro makes it easier to set up commissions. In the Commissions tab, you have four types of commissions:

### Default Commission

**GoAffPro** lets you set up a **default commission,** which is the commission rate that applies to all the products and affiliates. It is the commission that will be applied by default. Any product purchased using an affiliate's referral will have this commission rate applied to it. The default commission will apply to all products except those, set with other commission types.

**An example of default commission is,** if you sell shirts and shoes in your store when you set the default commission rate to say 10%, the commission rate will be applied by default to all the shirts and shoes in your store. When a customer purchases any shirt or shoe in your store, the affiliate (whose referral the customer used) will earn a 10% commission from the sale.&#x20;

> When you set the default commission rate to say 5 percent. When an affiliate's referral is used to buy shoes worth $100, the affiliate, in this case, will earn $5 as a commission on it.&#x20;

### **Product Commission**&#x20;

With product commissions, you can set **different commission rates** for particular products or affiliates. You have the choice of setting different commission rates for different categories of products. It is useful for setting up higher commissions on products that are more expensive, where your margins are high, and setting up a lower commission on products that are cheaper and have lower margins for you.&#x20;

**For Example**, If you sell shirts and shoes on your website store, then with the product commission option, you can set a higher rate of commission for shoes that are generally more expensive than shirts. It will encourage affiliates to actively promote more expensive products that have a higher commission rate since they provide a higher financial incentive.&#x20;

Here we have set up a 5% commission rate for shirts and an 8% commission rate for shoes, therefore, this will encourage affiliates to promote the shoe more actively. It will mean better margins for you (the merchant), with an increase in the number of sales of higher-priced products.

> When the product commission rate is set to 5% for the shirt and 8% for the shoes and a visitor buys both of them. Then the affiliate referral used to buy the $50 shirt, will earn the affiliate a $2.5 commission, and for the $50 shoe, the affiliate will earn $4 in commission.&#x20;

A **higher rate of commission** can also be set for products that have fewer sales, or for clearing the inventory of a product. Similarly, you can set up **lower commission rates for products** that are cheaper or have higher sales.

### Collection Commissions

Collection commission is useful in setting up commissions for a **collection** or category of products. You can select the products that you want to add to a collection in your store and set a common commission rate for that whole collection.&#x20;

It is useful in setting commissions for seasonal sales such as summer, and winter collections for clothes. It is also useful for setting up a higher rate of commission on products that need to be cleared from your inventory (like in a clearance sale). Affiliates will then be incentivized to promote these products.

**For example,** for collection commission, we can set up shirts such as these, in our store as a summer collection, where all of them will have a collection commission rate of 6%, this is useful in bringing newer stocks of products such as seasonal clothes and also clearing up earlier inventory.

### Royalty Commissions

Royalty commissions are commissions earned on the sale of a particular product or collection that can be set for an affiliate. When a sale of that product or collection takes place, regardless of the affiliate who refers it, the affiliate (for whom the fixed commission is set) will earn a commission. It is also called a fixed commission.

**For example,** here we can set a royalty commission on the shirt for Affiliate A and the shoe for Affiliate B. When affiliate B's referral is used in the sale of the shirt or vice-versa, both affiliates A and B will earn a commission over that sale.

In specialized stores, that sell products where users can make designs or art submissions, royalty commissions are useful in getting these users (affiliates) commission every time there is a sale of their designed product.

How affiliate coupons work with the GoAffPro app

In affiliate marketing, coupons are an effective tool to convert visitors into customers. They help in bringing new customers, and therefore, help in expanding your reach. Using coupons can encourage first-time customers to make a purchase, who may be hesitant to buy products at full price.

On social media, it is common to see influencers selling or promoting products. In most cases, they will share a coupon code, that their followers can use to purchase the product. When their coupon code is used by customers to make a purchase, the influencer earns a commission on those sales. &#x20;

### How do coupons work in your affiliate program?

### Assign coupons to affiliates

GoAffPro offers you the option to **assign coupons to affiliates**, which they can share with their followers and earn a commission, whenever a sale takes place with it.&#x20;

**T**o assign a coupon to an affiliate, you can click on **Assign coupon to affiliate** (in the Coupons tab). Now, choose the "Use existing store coupon" option. Next, select the affiliate, enter the coupon code you want to assign them, and submit it.

**Example:** Here you have an affiliate Kate, who has a sizeable following on Instagram. You can assign a code INSTA15 to Kate, which she can use to promote your products to her followers on Instagram. This coupon provides a 15% discount on the total purchase to the customer. Any sale that is made using this coupon code will earn Kate a commission.

### Automatic Coupons

Our app also provides you with the option to set up and enable the **automatic coupons** option. It automatically creates coupon codes for your affiliates when they register in your program.

### Setup usage limits for coupon codes:

* **Limit to one use per customer:** The coupon code assigned to the affiliate can only be **used once** per customer. If the customer tries to use the coupon again, it will not work for them.&#x20;
* **Limit the number of times this discount can be used in total:** It lets you set the **total number of times** the coupon code can be used in total. Once the limit is reached, the coupon will stop working for everyone.&#x20;
* **Give discount to new customers only:** It limits affiliate coupon **usage to new customers** only. Once the customer uses an affiliate's coupon, they will not be able to use any other affiliate's code.
* **Minimum Order Value:** It is the **minimum cart value** that needs to be met before the coupon can be applied to avail of the discount. Set a minimum order value to avoid losing money on low-priced products with additional shipping costs. It ensures that the order is profitable.
* **Limit discounts to products/collections:** This option lets you **limit the discounts** provided by coupon codes to specific products or collections in your store. It is useful if you don't want the coupons to work on certain products in your store.&#x20;

The **Payments** section shows you the pending payments of affiliate&#x73;**.** The affiliates whose names you see in this section have successfully referred sales, and are ready to get their commission paid to them.&#x20;

The **Payment History** section displays previous payments that have been to affiliates. It showcases the date of the payment, affiliate name, amount paid to the affiliate, mode of payment used to pay the affiliate, and actions.

### Paying affiliates with store credits

Store credit is the currency for your store that affiliates can choose to receive instead of money. With store credits, affiliates are paid with either a store discount coupon or a gift card. Both of these can be used to make purchases in your store.&#x20;

The difference between a store discount coupon and a store gift card is, that store credits get added to the gift card which is both reusable and can be clubbed, while the discount coupon that gets generated, can only be used once and cannot be clubbed.  &#x20;

**For example**, Affiliate A can choose instead of receiving $50 in money, $50 in discount coupons, or store credits, where he can choose to use these credits to purchase at your store.&#x20;

GoAffPro helps you set up store credit payments for your affiliates. These get generated/credited automatically on your behalf and are given to the affiliate.

### How do I pay my affiliates?

**You have three ways to pay your affiliates:**

1. You can pay the affiliate outside of our app and then [mark the payment as paid](/affiliate-payments/create-payout-session) in the Payouts tab within our app. This way, you can use any payment method you prefer, such as a bank transfer or debit card, to complete the payment on your end before marking it as paid.
2. You can pay affiliates directly from our app using PayPal Payouts. To enable this feature, go to Settings > Integrations and [integrate PayPal Payouts](/affiliate-payments/setup-paypal-payouts). This allows you to make both bulk and quick payments to affiliates. You can choose to [pay using PayPal Payouts](/affiliate-payments/setup-paypal-payouts/paypal-payouts-session) or [automate the payment process](/affiliate-payments/setup-paypal-payouts/setup-payout-scheduler). Additionally, integrating PayPal Payouts also lets you make Venmo payments.

### How to select the payment method for affiliates?&#x20;

### How do I pay affiliates with store credits?

### How do I deal with high transaction fees while paying affiliates?

We would recommend setting up a **minimum payout amount** for affiliates from Settings > Payments > Minimum Payout Amount section. It will allow you to set the minimum commission amount that your affiliates will be required to earn before getting paid.

**For example**, if you're paying an affiliate a $10 commission and the payment service charges you a $2 transaction fee, this could considerably impact your margins.

To address this issue, you can set up a minimum payout threshold of $25. This means you would only pay your affiliates when they have earned at least $25 in commissions. Since the transaction fee remains constant, paying the $25 commission would allow you to save both money and time.

How does the multi level affiliate network work in the GoAffPro app

**Multi-level marketing** also known as network marketing is a type of marketing strategy where existing affiliates of your program can recruit newer affiliates under them, and earn network commissions on the sales referred by their downline affiliates.&#x20;

In addition to the commission earned by the existing affiliate on referring sales directly, they also earn a percentage of the commission of their recruited affiliate's (downline) sale.

In the **Levels and Commissions** section, you set the number of levels and commissions for each level. The number of levels dictates how the commission will get distributed among the affiliate network.&#x20;

You can click on Change. Select the number of levels and set the commission rate for each level. Finally, you can save it.&#x20;

**For example,** in the above network, partner 1 recruited partner 2, and partner 2 further recruited partner 3. If partner 3 refers the sale:

* Partner 3 earns the referral commission
* Partner 2 earns the level 1 commission (5%)
* Partner 1 earns the level 2 commission (3%)

That is: Partner 3 refers the sale and earns the referral commission. Partner 2 will earn the level 1 commission and Partner 1 will earn the level 2 commission.&#x20;

### Setup multi level affiliate network settings <a href="#settings" id="settings"></a>

In the **Settings** section, you have options to configure your multi level affiliate network setup in your program:

* **Show sponsor on the signup page:** You can enable this option to display the parent/sponsor name on the signup page.
* **Level commission calculation method:** Select the commission calculation method for the level commission. You can choose either the dynamic calculation method or the simple calculation method.
* **MLM availability for affiliates:** You can set the MLM network availability for the affiliates in your program. If disabled, you can toggle it ON for affiliates manually, allowing them to recruit affiliates under them.
* **Recruitment bonus:** It allows affiliates to earn a bonus for recruiting newer affiliates under them.&#x20;

### Is the GoAffPro app free?

**GoAffPro does not charge you any money for the free plan**. The app is completely free to use.

### Is there any limit to the number of affiliates who can join my program?

There are no limits to the number of affiliates that can join your program. GoAffPro offers unlimited affiliates in all its pricing plans (even on the free plan).

### Why is my custom affiliate portal not loading up?&#x20;

After you set the affiliate portal URL from the Look and Feel > Store Profile > Affiliate Portal section, select the "Subdomain of your shop" option and set the custom portal name.&#x20;

You must also create a new CNAME record in your domain provider's dashboard, using the Name, Value, and TTL that get generated after you enter your custom portal name.&#x20;

To recruit affiliates for your program, you need to promote your affiliate program on your store's social media channels (Facebook page, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) and add the link to the affiliate portal on your store's homepage (using a menu or footer link).

By spreading the word about your affiliate program and highlighting the benefits of becoming an affiliate in your program, you will start seeing people join it.&#x20;

### How are commissions calculated?&#x20;

By default, the commission is calculated on the order total. However, you can set the program to exclude shipping, taxes, and coupon discounts from the commission calculation. That way, the commission would only be calculated on the product price in the order.&#x20;

#### Why do we offer this option?

* It is an industry-standard practice of calculating commission.&#x20;
* It creates a more transparent affiliate program, your affiliates earn what they see (i.e., on your shop, they see a $100 article, and if you are offering a 10% commission on its sale, they are sure they'll get $10 for its referral).&#x20;
* Shipping/Taxes/Coupon discounts vary for different countries/states/locations. Therefore, incorporating this would incur a great accounting overhead.&#x20;

### Can I customize the commission rates for specific affiliates?

You can use the **affiliate commissions** option from the Commissions > Referral Commissions section to set up different commissions for specific affiliates in your program.&#x20;

### How do I pay my affiliates?

#### You have two options to pay your affiliates:

1. You can pay the affiliate yourself (outside the app) and mark the payment as paid.&#x20;

### Why am I seeing less commission being calculated for my affiliates?

If the commission of affiliates is getting calculated less than the commission rate you have set, it can be due to the commission calculation settings that have been set in Settings > General > Sales.

### How does referral link tracking work?

**Our app supports both referral link and coupon code tracking:**

* If the customer visits the store using an affiliate's referral link and makes a purchase. Our app will record that sale and attribute it to the affiliate. The affiliate will be awarded a commission on that sale.
* If the customer uses the affiliate's coupon code to purchase in your store. Our app will record that sale and attribute it to the affiliate. The affiliate will be awarded a commission on such sales.

Note: if the customer uses both the affiliate's referral link and coupon code to make the purchase, the affiliate will still only get awarded a single commission on that sale.

### Why are referral sales not getting tracked on my store?

The issue of referral sales not getting tracked can arise if you are using a third-party checkout or a custom payment gateway in your store.&#x20;

We recommend that you connect with us at <admin@goaffpro.com> to get assistance regarding this.

### Are test sales are not giving the intended results?

It is recommended that you make the test sale in the private/incognito tab of your browser. That way, previously saved cookies will not affect the test. It also gives you the perspective of how a customer would be making a purchase when they visit your store for the first time, using the affiliate's referral link.

### How do I add the link to my affiliate portal in the store?

#### You have two options:

1. You can add the link to your affiliate portal in either the header or the footer section of your store.&#x20;
2. You can create a custom page with your program details and link your affiliate portal to it.

### How to stop unwanted affiliate signups?&#x20;

1. You can include [additional signup fields](/affiliate-portal-customization/signup-page/additional-signup-fields-for-signup-page) on the signup page to gather more information from your affiliates. This will help you verify their profiles and information.
2. Next, [disable the automatic approval](/program-settings/manage-affiliate-registrations/disable-automatic-approval-of-affiliates) of affiliates in your program. This will allow you to manually approve or reject affiliate signups.

By doing this, you can verify the information submitted by applicants in your program and approve or reject them from the Affiliates > Pending Approval section.

### What is the difference between referral and personal coupon codes?

**Here is the difference between referral coupons and personal coupons:**

### Does GoAffPro track sales refunds or cancellations?

GoAffPro does track refunds and order cancellations.&#x20;

When a referral sale gets refunded or canceled, our app will automatically mark the sale as rejected and will deduct the commission for that sale from the affiliate's account balance. It is done automatically by the GoAffPro app.

### Does GoAffPro offer any additional tools for affiliates to promote the products?

Affiliates can use the product link generator tool located in the marketing tools tab of their dashboard to create trackable product links for their customers.

### Can I sync multiple store programs?

In the multi-store connect model, affiliates can register through any store portal, and their accounts sync across all programs. They can view statistics and quickly switch between stores. Admins manage each store independently via a master dashboard, with sales and payouts managed separately for each program.

**Affiliate End:** Affiliates can enroll through any of the store portals. Their accounts will sync across all stores, allowing them to log in to the store portal and access the statistics of all the store programs through quick store switching. Affiliate links and coupons from one store will also work for all the other stores.

**Merchant End:** We provide admins with a master dashboard to manage each store independently (via the dashboard switcher). Referral sales and commission payouts are managed separately in each store program.

### How to set up GoAffPro with Shopify Markets?

If you have a single myshopify URL, but use Shopify Markets for geolocated stores, e.g., [example.it](http://example.it), [example.fr](http://example.fr), [example.co.uk](http://example.co.uk), etc. Affiliate links and coupons will function across all domains.

To allow affiliates to share the domain links for each country's store, you can follow this [guide](https://docs.goaffpro.com/affiliate-portal-customization/affiliate-dashboard/setup-quick-links-for-affiliates) to add them as quick links to their dashboard.

Note:

* If you are automatically redirecting customers based on their geolocation, please ensure that the referral parameter is preserved during the redirection. For example, if a customer visits: <https://example.com/?ref=abc>, the redirected URL must retain the ?ref=abc parameter, like: <https://example.co.uk/?ref=abc>.
* If the stores use different currencies, currency conversion will happen automatically into the original store's base currency.

### I want to migrate my affiliate program to another store

# Test Affiliate Sales

Test your GoAffPro installation and sales tracking

To test affiliate tracking, you can follow these steps through the entire customer visit lifecycle. This involves clicking on the affiliate link, visiting the website, adding items to the cart, and completing the purchase.

### Create a new affiliate account

You can create the affiliate account from within the GoAffPro app or use the signup page of your affiliate portal.

#### Create a new affiliate from the Affiliates tab

Go to the Affiliates > All Affiliates section and click on **Create New Affiliate**.

Set the name and email address of the affiliate, and click on **Submit**.

The referral link of the affiliate account will be displayed on the affiliate profile page.&#x20;

#### Create a new affiliate from the signup page of the affiliate portal

Go to the signup page of the affiliate portal, fill in the email address and password, and sign up.

The referral link of the affiliate will be displayed in the affiliate dashboard.

### Visit your store using the affiliate link

Open the **referral link** in your browser. Your visit will now be tracked by GoAffPro.&#x20;

To confirm that your visit is being tracked, go to the Analytics tab in your admin panel. In the visits table, you should see a unique visit recorded.

#### Browse your store & make a purchase

When you open your store using the affiliate's referral link, your visit will start getting tracked. You can browse the store, view different products, and add them to your cart.

Finally, add a product to your cart and complete the purchase. This sale will be recorded by GoAffPro and attributed to the affiliate, who will earn a commission on the sale.

**To confirm that a referral sale was successfully made:**

* You will receive an email informing you that a new affiliate sale has been made.
* The affiliate will receive an email informing them that a sale has been made using their referral.
* You can view the referral sale recorded in the Sales > All Sales section.&#x20;

### **GoAffPro** provides you with two options to pay the affiliates in your program:

* Pay affiliates outside GoAffPro
* Pay affiliates within GoAffPro
  * Pay with PayPal Payouts

### Pay affiliates outside GoAffPro

This process outlines how to pay affiliates via bank transfer, debit card, and other methods.

1\. Select the supported payment methods for affiliates from Settings > Payments section.&#x20;

Setup a custom name for your affiliate portal

**GoAffPro** provides you with the option to set up a custom domain for your affiliate portal. Having a custom domain for your affiliate program offers a range of benefits.&#x20;

### Set up the portal name for your affiliate portal

In the **Look and Feel** tab, go to the **Store Profile** section.

Add a new **CNAME record** for your domain.

#### Create a new CNAME record at your DNS registrar for your domain with the following values:

**Post Checkout Popup** feature offers you the option to set up a popup to be displayed to customers, after they checkout on the order status/confirmation page. This popup informs the customers of your affiliate program.&#x20;

> The post checkout popup is a useful tool, that helps spread the word about your affiliate program. It displays a popup to customers on the order confirmation page (thank you page). This helps in recruiting more affiliates to your program.

# Setup Basic Popup

The **Basic Popup** is the popup style that allows you to set up a basic layout for the popup. You can add a header image, image link, and other popup configurations.&#x20;

To set up the basic popup, click on **Select & Customize**.&#x20;

The basic popup section consists of three sections for customizing the popup. By default when you enable the Post Checkout Popup feature, the basic popup will be activated.

### Header Image

The **Header Image** option can be used to upload an image that will appear in the popup. You can choose the image from the GoAffPro gallery, or you can upload a header image of your choice.

To change the header image of the popup, click on **Delete**, and then click on **Browse** or **Choose file**, to upload a different header image. You also have the option to adjust the width and height of the header image.

To the right, in the popup preview, the image you select will appear as the header image of the popup. This will show you the look of the popup with the header image you have chosen.

### Image Click

You also have the option to edit the image URL, which will open up when the customer clicks on the image. This is meant to direct the customer to the affiliate portal page, allowing them to register in your program. There is also an option to select whether to open the URL in a new tab or the same tab.&#x20;

### Other Configuration

In the **Other Configuration** section, you can set additional options for the popup, such as closing the popup when the escape button is presse&#x64;**,** closing the popup when a background click is made, or displaying the popup only once per customer.&#x20;

### Button

The **Button** section allows you to change the title of the button, set the URL that it opens, and set the background and text color of the button. You can also select whether the button click opens the URL in the same or a new browser tab.&#x20;

There is also an option to set the button as an opt-in button, allowing customers to get enrolled, only if they click on the button.

### Sharing Options

The **Sharing Options** section, allows you to add social media sharing icons to the popup. The customer can click on these icons to share the affiliate program link to their social media handles.

### Other Configurations

In the **Other Configuration** section, you can set additional options for the popup, such as closing the popup when the escape button is presse&#x64;**,** closing the popup when a background click is made, or displaying the popup only once per customer.&#x20;

There is also the option to embed the popup in the order confirmation page (instead of it appearing as a popup). You can also disable the invitation email from getting sent to the customers. Additionally, you can set custom CSS for the popup.

There are also options for setting up a signup bonus, setting the popup to appear only for select products or only on orders whose total is greater than a certain amount.&#x20;

### To prevent unwanted/spam accounts from registering for your affiliate program, you can follow these steps:

### Enable the Detect Coupon Leaks feature

Go to the Coupons > Detect Coupon Leaks section > Turn **ON** the toggle. It will notify you when coupons leak on coupon sites, allowing you to take appropriate action.

The coupon code is valid for a limited time, after which it automatically refreshes. This helps prevent coupon leaks by ensuring that the codes are frequently changed.

To block referral sales made via Google ads, you can use the Block Google Ads option from the Settings > Advanced section. Here, you can set the app to reject sales made via Google ad clicks.&#x20;

Google ad clicks happen when an affiliate buys keywords for your store on Google ads, converting your organic customers into referrals. This means that when a customer searches for your store on Google, clicks on the affiliate's ad, and ends up on your site, it is considered a Google ad click.

* After that, you can write any of these as the **order tag** while creating the customer's order in the POS system.&#x20;

#### POS Machine User ID for Order Mapping

* Every Shopify POS machine has user accounts. These user accounts have a unique user ID. You can map this **user ID** to the affiliate ID in the program.&#x20;

#### POS Machine Location ID for Order Mapping

* If you have multiple retail locations, each with POS machines. You can map the **location ID** of the POS machine to the affiliate in the program.&#x20;
* Go to the Commissions > Royalty Commissions > Rule based tracking section. Here, create the rule with "Point of sale Source ID" option > set the location ID as the matching value, and select the affiliate.&#x20;
* After that, any sale made using that location's POS system will automatically be attributed to the affiliate.&#x20;

### To integrate the GoAffPro tile in the Shopify POS app:

On the home screen of the Shopify POS app, tap on **Add tile**.

#### Manually add tracking code in your WooCommerce store:

Go to the **Developer** section in the **Settings** tab of the GoAffPro admin panel.

# Manual Wix Integration

To manually add the tracking script to your store's theme file, insert it just before the closing tag. You can find the tracking script by going to Settings > Developer > Debug Integration. Click on Start Debugger and copy the script from there.

This will ensure that tracking functions properly and toolbars, if enabled, are displayed.

1. To do this, navigate to your Wix dashboard and select Settings > Custom Code.
2. On the screen that appears, paste the code from your GoAffPro merchant panel, located in the Settings > Developer > Debug Integration section.
3. Make sure to add it to the Body–End section and set it to load on all pages only once.

To enable secure payload for conversion callback, go to the **SDK Settings** section in the **Settings** tab of the GoAffPro admin panel.

**GoAffPro** provides you with the option to allow the app to call functions on your API.

To call functions on your API, go to the **SDK Settings** section in the **Settings** tab of the GoAffPro admin panel.

To add custom JavaScript, go to the **SDK Settings** section in the **Settings** tab of the GoAffPro admin panel.

**GoAffPro** provides you with the option to upload a list of your products.&#x20;

To upload a list of your products, go to the **SDK Settings** section in the **Settings** tab of the GoAffPro admin panel.

To integrate the CartX payment gateway, embed the following code in the **Body section** of the **Thank You page** in the CartX app.&#x20;

# Set Royalty Commissions for Affiliates

**GoAffPro** provides you with the option to set royalty commissions for affiliates.&#x20;

> The royalty commission option lets you set a fixed commission for your affiliates on products or collections. For example, if you set a royalty commission on product A for the affiliate, any sale of that product in your store will get attributed to the affiliate.&#x20;

To set royalty commissions for affiliates, go to the **Royalties** **Commissions** section of the **Commissions** tab in the GoAffPro admin panel.

# View Royalty Commission for Sale

**GoAffPro** provides you with the option to view the royalty commission for a sale.

To view the royalty commission for a sale, go to the **All Sales** section of the **Sales** tab in the GoAffPro admin panel.

# Prevent Affiliates from Getting Two Commissions

**GoAffPro** provides you with the option to prevent affiliates from getting credited with two commissions for a sale. This can happen, if the affiliate who has a fixed commission setup, also refers the sale.

To prevent affiliates from getting credited with two commissions for a sale, go to the **Royalties (Fixed commissions)** section of the **Commissions** tab in the GoAffPro admin panel.&#x20;

Here, you will be able to view the fixed commission that has been set up.

Now, in the All Sales section of the Sales tab, you will see two entries with the same order number.&#x20;

Since there are two entries of the order, one will be with the regular commission and the other one will be with the fixed commission.&#x20;

Therefore, since the sale was referred by the affiliate who also has a fixed commission set up, the affiliate will get two commissions for the sale.

# Set Commission Modifiers

**GoAffPro** provides you with the option to set commission modifiers for affiliates.

> The commission modifiers feature lets you adjust/modify affiliate commissions based on set rules. You can set modifiers with rules such as order value, first-time customers, recurring customers, etc.&#x20;

To set commission modifiers for affiliates, go to the **Commission modifiers** section in the **Commissions** tab of the GoAffPro admin panel.

Here, enable the toggle and click on **Add new modifier.**

For rules such as **Order value, Customer Shipping State/Country, Coupon code matches, Customer email, Customer tag, Order tag, Payment gateway, Expression, Product Name,** and **Other Adjustments,** you can set the matches value for the set rules and adjust the affiliate's commission for when an order fulfills the rule.&#x20;

For the rules **First time customer, Customer's first time product purchase, Customer's recurring product purchase,** **Old/Recurring Customer**, and **First sale of the affiliate**, the affiliate commission can be adjusted directly.&#x20;

Finally, click on **Add Modifier** to save the commission modifier you created. You will be able to view the newly set commission modifier with its details in the table below.

> The affiliate groups feature provides you the ability to create groups of affiliates, allowing you to set up independent commission structures for each group. You can customize your commission rates for specific groups, making it easier to manage them.

To setup commission groups for affiliates, go to the **Groups** tab in the GoAffPro admin panel.

Here, set the bonus title.

Now, set when to give the bonus.

Next, set the date and time for the first bonus to be given.

You can also set the bonus data end date.

Now, select the parameters for the bonus.

You can select parameters such as Number of orders, Total sale value (subtotal), Total sale value (total), or Total Commission.

Next, set the bonus amount.

You also have the option to choose how to give the bonus, either as a cash bonus or a discount coupon.

After this, select the commission group.&#x20;

Finally, click on **Submit**.&#x20;

Go to the **Groups** > **Edit Group > Group Configuration** section.

# Set Default Referral Link for Group

**GoAffPro** provides you with the option to set the default referral link for the commission group.

To set the default referral link for the commission group, go to the **Groups** tab in the GoAffPro admin panel.

Here, click on **Edit Group**.

This will open up the Edit group section.

Now, go to the Group Configuration section.

Next, click on the **Default referral link** option.&#x20;

Here, paste the link.

After this, click on **Submit**.

Finally, the default referral link will be saved for the group.
