# Setup Refer-A-Friend System **GoAffPro** provides you with the option to set up a refer-a-friend referral system for your customers. {% hint style="info" %} The refer-a-friend system lets your customers refer their friends to your store without having to sign up as affiliates. In return, they can earn rewards when their friends make purchases. {% endhint %} To set up a refer-a-friend referral system, go to the **Extras** section in the **Settings** tab of the GoAffPro admin panel.

Here, go to the Refer-A-Friend section.

### Configure Refer-A-Friend Setup Now, click on **Configure**.

Next, click on **Start Setup**.

After this, enable the **affiliate group** and **apply discount on link** options.

Now, select the group for the refer-a-friend configuration.

Click on **Continue**.

Now, set the commission rate the customer gets and the discount their friend will get. {% hint style="info" %} You can also click on **Set discount limits** to set advanced settings for the discount codes. It includes options such as setting a minimum order value, limiting the discount to one use per customer, configuring combination settings, and applying the coupons to subscriptions. {% endhint %}

After this, click on **Continue**.

### Customize the Refer-A-Friend Widget Next, click on **Customize and Activate Widget**.

Here, upload the header image. Set the widget super title, title, and subtitle.

Now, click on **Save**.

Next, set the page URL to publish the widget.

Finally, click on **Publish**.

The refer-a-friend widget will appear on the store page.

**How does the refer-a-friend system work?** The refer-a-friend system, once set up, will be integrated into a page of your store. Customers can sign up on this page.
