# Give Commission Only for New Customers

**GoAffPro** provides you with the option to give commission to affiliates only for referral sales by new customers.

The Give commission only for new customers option allows you to award commissions to affiliates only for referring new customers. They will not earn commissions on sales made by old/recurring customers.

To give commission to affiliates for referral sales by new customers, go to the **General** section of the **Settings** tab of the GoAffPro admin panel.

Here, go to the Sales section.

Now, enable the "**Give Commission only for new customers**" option.

If enabled, the commission will be given to affiliates only for referring new customers.&#x20;

You also have the option to select affiliates to set as exceptions to this.

Finally, click on **Save**.
