In affiliate marketing, affiliates promote a merchant's products or services. They can advertise these products on social media platforms, blogs, and more.
After creating an affiliate account with a merchant's program, you will receive a referral link. This link will be used for promotions and can be shared with your friends or followers.
When a customer visits the store using your referral link and makes a purchase, that sale will be attributed to you, and you will earn a commission.
If you have been given a coupon code, you can share it in your promotions. When a customer uses your coupon code to make a purchase in the store, the sale will be credited to you, and you will earn a commission from it.
The commission you earn is determined by the merchant. You can check the commission rate in the Home tab of your affiliate dashboard.
For example: If the commission rate is set as 10% and a customer purchases a product of $100 using your referral link, you will earn a $10 commission.
When a customer makes a purchase using your referral link or coupon code, this referral will be recorded in the summary table located on the Home tab of your affiliate dashboard.
The summary section provides information on the number of referrals, the number of orders placed through your referrals, the conversion percentage (which shows the ratio of visits to purchases), the total sale value, and your earnings.
