Tracking Modes
Tracking Modes are used to track sales made by customers using the affiliate's referral link or code.
There are two types of tracking modes available:
Referral Link
Coupon Code
Referral Link
Referral links are used by customers to visit the store. These links are generated for affiliates automatically and are unique to each affiliate. When an affiliate's referral link is used by a customer to visit the store and make a purchase, that will get recorded by the app and attributed to the affiliate.
Coupon Code
Coupon codes are also used to track customer sales. These can be generated for affiliates automatically, using the automatic coupons option (in the Coupons tab). When an affiliate's coupon code is used to make a purchase, the sale will get recorded by the app and attributed to the affiliate.
By default, both the referral link and coupon code tracking are enabled for the program.
Referral Links
To enable the referral links tracking, enable the Referral Link option.
You can also provide affiliates the option to customize their referral codes by enabling the "Allow affiliate to customize referral code" option.
After enabling this customization, affiliates can go to the Settings tab within their dashboard to customize their referral code
Coupon Codes
To enable coupon code tracking, enable the Coupon Code option.
You can also provide affiliates with the option to customize their coupon codes, by enabling the "Allow affiliate to customize coupon code" option.
After enabling this customization, affiliates can go to the Home tab in their dashboard and click on Change coupon code to customize it.
Personal Coupons
You can provide your affiliates with the option to customize their personal coupon codes by enabling the "Allow affiliate to customize personal coupon codes" option.
After enabling this customization, affiliates can go to the Home tab within their dashboard and click on Change coupon code to customize it.
