Set Commission Calculation Settings

GoAffPro provides you with the option to set the commission calculation settings for affiliates.

To set the commission calculation settings for affiliates, go to the General section in the Settings tab of the GoAffPro admin panel.

Now, go to the Sales section.

Here, in the Commission calculation section, you have the options to set how the affiliate commission is calculated.

Include discounts

Here, check the "Include discounts" box.

Now, you also have the option to check the "Also adjust for automatic store discounts" box, which would also apply the commission calculation for the automatic store discounts.

There is also the option to adjust the commission calculation by the discount percentage, the discount amount, or by a custom percentage. There is also an option to create an exception for coupon codes that have been assigned to affiliates.

The Include discounts option can be used to either include or exclude the total discount value while calculating the affiliate commission.

If checked, the commission will be calculated after deducting the total discount value from the order. The reduced affiliate commission will be proportional to the discount percentage.

For example: If a customer makes a purchase of $100 on the store using an affiliate's referral and the order has a discount of 10%. Also, the commission rate of the affiliate is 20%.

Therefore, the commission will be calculated after deducting the discount from the order value which is $100 - $10 = $90, the affiliate's commission will be 20% of $90 that is $18.

Exclude shipping and taxes

Here, check the "Exclude shipping and taxes" box.

The Exclude shipping and taxes option can be used to either include or exclude the shipping and taxes while calculating the affiliate commission.

If checked, the commission will be calculated after deducting shipping and taxes from the order.

Exclude VAT

Here, check the "Exclude VAT" box.

Here, you also have the option to include the VAT in shipping.

The Exclude VAT option can be used to either include or exclude the VAT while calculating the affiliate commission.

If checked, the VAT is removed from the product's price before calculating the commission.
